Display Held Stock Value in admin.
This module was written for zencart 1.3.8 and is aimed at people who
hold stock or some stock of their own.
This will give a display of the value in your chosen currency of stock
held.
The total value of all stock held is displayed on the admin index page
in the top left hand corner.
Not only that but the stockvalue for each product item is also displayed.
And this mod also allows you to enter the actual price you pay for the
item which is then stored in the database so is also displayed.
(That's a really important bit actually because it relies on the user
telling the database how much you pay for the item so it can calculate
how much the stock value is.)
And not only that, a further link to easy populate so you can download
the price you pay for the item, the quantity in stock and also the stock
value in csv form in a spreadsheet.
Perfect for end of year figures.
To avoid any conflict of functions - Everytime you want to update the
stock value of product items or even the total stock value then you simply
copy and paste a very small sql query into the install sql patches page
in admin. The sql query code has been added to the Install sql patches
page so you can simply copy and paste it straight into the box and hit
the Send button.
